Temperature Gradient

Humidity
- Target: 60-80% maintained with moist substrate and twice daily misting
Lighting
- UVB: Recommended (Not optional for best health)
- Use 5-7% UVB tube placed over basking area
- Photoperiod: 10-12 hours daily

Feeding Schedule
- Adults: 2-3 feedings per week
- Juveniles: every other day

Water:
- Provide a shallow water dish but they will mostly drink from 2x daily mistings
Behavior and Handling
- Best kept as a display species
- Minimize handling as much as possible as they are prone to high stress
- They can be highly aggressive and may hiss, puff their bodies or bite
- When handling, avoid grabbing from above and make sure to support their entire body
